A Clear Day

 It was a beautiful day
in Colorado yesterday.
Clear blue skies with
a magnificent view of Long's Peak.

There was even a clear view
in my
sewing room.

Because I don't have a design wall
but only a design floor,

 sometimes there are obstacles
 No, problem.
It's just  learning
to be flexible.

 Until Next Time-

  2. YUM Kyle! What's the name of that block? It is a totally new one to me - love the colors you're using. Unfortunately we have a terrible inversion going on here right now - the smog is so think you can practically cut it with a knife - yuck. Can't wait for blue skies.

  3. Gorgeous mountain view, Kyle! We are hoping our inversion (see Gayle's comment) will be blown away by storms this week and we will finally have clear mountain views again.
That is an amazing quilt you have laid out. I am curious about the block, too. And those setting triangles involve a bit of work, too. It is stunning!

  4. Your quilt is looking fabulous! Your obstacles make me smile--I usually have to move furniture just to find the floor.:) Gotta love a good clear day!

  12. I have used the floor many times for a design wall and know about those obstacles. I just have too much stuff. Your quilt has so many triangles and well done.

  16. That's a beauty on your design floor, and how wonderful that you're able to work around anything that gets in the way. I think the middle name for most quilters is "flexible."
I really do like that quilt. Do you have a name for it? It reminds me of the crisp, tart taste of fruits -- lemons and plums and limes -- or maybe Yellow Delicious and Red Delicious and Granny Smith apples. Just a thought.
