Oh Kyle, you will be so close to Maine! If there is any chance of you passing by Bath, I would love to see you. If not, I will be waving as you have fun in the Maritimes!
Just returned to my Nova Scotia home after a PEI visit. Ignore the damage from Hurricane Dorian as we're cleaning up as fast as we can and the beginning of the lovely fall colours should overtake the downed branches. Enjoy the wonderful bounty of seafood and fresh produce, the music and the friendly people. Have a wonderful time!
DH and I enjoyed our trip out east quite a number of years ago. If you can, be sure to stop at Hopewell Rock in N.B. and have a picnic on the ocean floor.
I'm envying your trip! If you possibly can, spend at least one night at Dalvay by the Sea. My daughters and I spent three nights there last year, making it our home base while visiting all the Anne locations and other special places and activities on the island. Its beauty and romance added so much to our trip. We loved the hospitality and imagining ourselves in an earlier time. Best wishes for a wonderful PEI vacation!
