Sounds, Spaces, and Switches

 Good things have been happening.
The move is behind me.
I have been busy emptying boxes

and finding new spaces

 to put things and
then trying to remember where I put it!

There's plenty of fabric

to still be put away.
(Sorry, no pictures of my closet !)

I've been enjoying new spaces,
 and
 new views.

I've been trying to remember
which switches switch what on.

And, of course, different houses
 make different sounds
that can take a while to get use to.

We woke up at 4am this morning
to the sound of owls
on top of the chimney
Hoot hooting the end of their busy night.
(Sorry, no pictures of that either)

Now just so you know,
I haven't been doing all work with no play.
I've been here,
and here,
visited here

and kept looking for
these guys.
I'm sure you figured out where I've been
But more about that later.

There's been no sewing.
Especially, when my new space
 looks like this.
But it will get organized...
sometime.

And can you believe,
we have a snow advisory alert for tomorrow.
sigh
Until Next Time-

  1. Loved the pictures! Beautiful views from your windows. Light switches do take a little getting use to! There is a method the election told me so!! LOL.

  2. Wow you have been busy! Moving is so overwhelming, but your new views seem like good motivation! Hope you had a lovely holiday. Pity about the snow...is that early for your part of the world? One day I would like to live somewhere it snows in winter, but probably one winter would be enough!

  3. Yay Kyle! I'm so glad your move is complete - looks like you have some nice spaces - and the view is lovely! A good friend of mine spent a week in Ireland this summer - totally LOVED it! I spent the day in SLC last Friday and got snowed on - of course it didn't stick but I was pretty surprised to see it! Supposed to get more in the mountains tonight and that probably WILL stick around for awhile!

  5. Oh my - Ireland was a busy place recently - 2 of my friends were there about 2 months ago. It looks so beautiful. You must have had such a good time. Wishing you happy unpacking and looking forward to seeing photos of your new sewing area - always a treat for quilters.
    Love those mountain views.

  6. I was wondering how you were settling into your new house. We have some light switches here that took me a while to figure out what they went to. We have some walls that don't go all the way to the ceiling so ledges for display. There are plugs up there. The switches control power to those plugs.
