If you had been in my area the
other evening,
you might have noticed a soft glow
emanating from one of the lower
windows of my home.
Finally,
I was able to rebond with a dear friend.
No, not everything is completely put away,
but close.
I just needed to do something that
wasn't moving related.
It felt good
to turn on my machine.
I sewed a few stitched just to make sure
everything was working properly.
Like Neil Armstrong,
and Apollo 11,
other evening,
you might have noticed a soft glow
emanating from one of the lower
windows of my home.
Finally,
I was able to rebond with a dear friend.

wasn't moving related.
It felt good
to turn on my machine.
I sewed a few stitched just to make sure

Like Neil Armstrong,
and Apollo 11,
I can now say,
"Houston, the eagle has landed."
Until Next Time-
Glad you were able to get it out!
ReplyDeleteSweet reunion!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I moved, it was when the sewing machine was put to use that I felt at home. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteAH - that must feel so good to get back to doing something you love. Hope you'll share pictures soon of your new space! Now get busy and sew up a storm!
ReplyDeleteI had a laugh when I read this post Kyle - can just imagine the "soft glow"! Have fun getting back into it.

ReplyDeleteI felt the same way! I almost feel normal now that the SR is working. It will really be home when the design wall goes up
