Wool Isn't Just for Winter

Here in Colorado
spring is fast approaching.
It's time to put away the wool
sweaters and socks.

 But wait!
Wool isn't just for winter.

How about all those spring lambs?
Aren't they the real spring woolies?

I realized as I was getting out a few spring and Easter
decorations that most of my little spring penny rugs
are made from wool.

Today I'm sharing a
Smilebox featuring many of 
the wool penny projects
that I've made in the past.

The patterns have come from a variety of sources.
Many of them were from different Need'l Love books,
individual patterns or Primitive Quilts Magazine.

    Those Penny rugs are terrific. They are so much fun to make and are a quick finish for us large quilt makers. We also need finishes!!!!! I really love the springy easter theme. Lovely Kyle. Thank you for sharing.

    You have made several spring wool projects. My favorite is the walking in the grass bunny. I made some walking bunny pieces but not this particular design. Shakerwood Woolens has some new soft and pretty spring color wools that are so tempting.
