Oh tough choice! I love four layer chocolate cake with whipped cream instead of frosting and topped with chocolate curls but carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is soo good too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a great birthday. I love a good white cake, double layer with butter cream icing and lots of flowers on top.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Yum. And my favorite way of celebrating a birthday is spending with the people I love ... which looks like how you celebrated your milestone birthday (mine will be next February).
ReplyDeleteStrawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Mouse Cake, Blackberry Cheesecake, Lemon Fluff Cake,...and the list goes on! LOVE them all!! Happy Birthday, Kyle!! I love that picture of you and your wee one...beautiful! Frame it so that you can look at how young you turned! And with your pay hike you can now buy more fabric!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!!

Happy birthday! It looks like you had a fun celebration. My favorite b-day cake is German Chocolate.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Kyle! What great photo memories of your special day. We have some special plates inherited from my grandmother that we have always used for birthday celebrations. What gorgeous baskets you are gifting to your readers!

ReplyDeleteAs always, a delightful post, Kyle! Happy Birthday--looks like a warm and loving celebration.
ReplyDeleteChocolate Cream Pie for me--and due to a recent diagnosis--in a gluten free crust. A game night with family tops off the fun, if I get to choose. : )
Thanks for a chance to win one of your cute creations!
Happy birthday! My favorite dessert is one I only had once. My Australian sister in law made me pavlova, and it was amazingly delicious! Thank you for a chance to win something you have made.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I don’t eat much cake since I have gone Gluten free but I do enjoy spending the day with my grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Kyle! It looks like you had a delightful celebration :0) The cake looks yummy. My birthday is 2 weeks before Christmas and it's so busy I haven't had a cake or celebration in a few years. I can always hope for next year! I'd love to win one of your sweet baskets - thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a super Happy Birthday!! It looks as though you had a wonderful celebration, and captured the memories in these beautiful photos. I love your baskets, they're all so lovely but no need to include me in the draw, I feel as though I've lots of lucky wins lately.
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy birthday Kyle, glad you had your family there to help you celebrate. I love to celebrate my birthday with pancakes for breakfast (even if I have to do the cooking and cleaning), and have the kids come rushing in first thing in the morning, bringing me presents, sitting on me in bed and helping me rip off the paper! Basket #3 please...thank you for sharing the joy in your great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteA very happy birthday to you Kyle! Such lovely photos of the celebration with kids and grandkids. My favourite birthday dessert is berry pavlova - my daughter makes a wonderful version and my mouth is watering just thinking of it!
