When the weather forecast called for blizzard snow
in Denver over the weekend,
I headed for home a day early.
That was a good thing in many ways.
One positive was that despite the weather
my quilt group was meeting
and I could show up as a surprise.
We were all showing our progress on our #9 projects.
What a success!
It's interesting how a fun idea will get quilters working
on UFO's.
But now it was time to draw the next number
to see what projects would be conquered in February.
And the number is...
So what corresponds on my list of UFO's.
Last year I bought a kit for a wool table runner
designed by Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings.
Funny how Christmas came and went and
to stitch this Holly and Poinsettia table runner.
Does it seem out of order in the natural
progression of months to work on this now?
Yes,
but it will seem very nice to have done when December
rolls around again.
Besides if you looked outside over the weekend it seemed a lot like
December.
Here's Sanford bundled up in a snowsuit building his first snowman.
He seems to be really enjoying it, huh?
Time to gather up what I need to get this table runner
done.
I've got a month.
Until Next Time-
I looked at that poinsettia pattern on Primitive Gatherings website many times. It will make a beautiful winter display mat.
