Have you ever noticed
that occasionally the same number just keeps reoccurring
in your daily life?
This past week it seems my
persistent number has been ...
persistent number has been ...
If I think of the number 31,
I think of this.
Do you remember the first time
you went to a Baskin Robbins and
had 31 different choices of ice cream?
Well, this week the number 31
has mysteriously appeared in every one
of my current quilt projects.
Kind of weird, huh.
It started with discovering I have 31
more stars to stitch.
****
Then I counted and found out I
needed to make 31 more sets of
flying geese for the borders of the
Halo Medallion which I'm also currently working on.
****
Then the ultimate coincidence,
Then the ultimate coincidence,
31 more sets of broken dishes
from my Leaders
and Enders project that I've been working
on forever.
Did I say forever!?!
on forever.
Did I say forever!?!

Good luck reducing your 31's to zeros :)

ReplyDeleteSome things seems ment to be like this week full of 31's. Like your broeken dishes! Have a good weekend!
I think you should buy a lottery ticket, too! Thirty-one blocks is certainly within reach for all your projects. Love your fussy cut stars :) Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to be one of your winners . . . and want to say thank you so much. That's so strange how that number kept popping up for you. I don't recall never having that happen.
ReplyDeleteSpooky about all those 31's.
ReplyDeleteI see you made your star parts with a template of some sort. For some reason, my seam allowance never seems to fall in the right place using the template sets with the points cut off.
Congratulations to your winners!
ReplyDeleteThat 31 repitition is kind of spooky in a fun way.
That is pretty strange--too bad September doesn't have 31 days--you may need it to get all those "31's" finished--haha!
