Peepers

I love the fact that there is
Netflix streaming.
When there isn't much to watch on TV,
it's nice to have a choice of something to watch.

In the evenings I've been watching West Wing,
 great characters,
daily drama and stories in the White House and
and
political issues
that just don't seem to go away.

This week President Jed Bartlet
made reference in  his weekend radio address
to all the leaf peepers in New England.

My kids thought it was some kind
of a joke or code word.

With spring just around the corner,
fall leaf peeping is a ways off.

But as I cut and arranged the fall
leaves on the last borders
 of the Midnight Silhouette quilt
I guess I was a
Springtime Peeper,

with a little help from my sugary friends.

Until Next Time-

  3. I love West Wing. I watch it on my Kindle. Your quilt is coming along. I love the applique. Save me a peep....haven't had those in years. Hugs

  4. That was a good show, wasn't it? I never watched it when it aired, but afterward - an episode, or two, a night.
Love that peeps aren't just for Easter anymore, although it was fun to have to wait for them.

  5. Used to be one of my favorite shows! It's on my bucket list to someday be a leaf peeper in New England! It's been awhile since I've done much applique, but it sure adds a lot to a pieced quilt, huh? Looking good!

  7. OMG I love peeps - especially the way the sugar crunches in your teeth, lol.
My daughter just discovered the WW and she and her boyfriend love it. What a great show.

  8. Your project is looking great. Just as well we don't have peepers down under, I hear they're addictive.
