Q-T-Pies

I always look forward to the special 

time when my Quilt group gets Together.

Last night was a fall tradition. 

We meet at Cathy's

for our special chili dinner to celebrate her

Halloween birthday.

Here we are.  

It's a tradition to take a group picture.
Even though we were missing a couple of members

we still look pretty good.

Cute, in fact.

Besides dinner, dessert is a must.
Who was the Pie Diva tonight?

Audrey was the Pie Diva this evening.

Audrey, the Diva of the Month!!

Audrey was thinking very traditional by bringing

Apple Pie, the ultimate American Pie.

There's probably as many ways to make this pie

as there are people who make pies.

Audrey choose to do hers with a crumb topping.
It was wonderful.

Because she is gluten intolerant, her crust was
gluten free.  It was very good.  You would never have
known that part was nontraditional.

It was a fun evening.
