A Rocky Mountain Retreat

This past weekend I was able to
slip away from my Nanny position
and head to the mountains
with Running Man for a much
needed mini retreat and some R & R.

Our favorite spot is

YMCA of the Rockies
located in Estes Park, Colorado.

I love this sculpture.

You can hear the Village People
singing right now, can't you!

I sewed,
Running Man read,

I sewed,
Running Man did a little work,

We took a couple walks,

enjoyed some dramatic sunsets,

"a fire in the sky"

watched this bull elk

completely ignore us,

and spent some quality time together.

And we did not
hear one political ad for
48 hours!
