Running Man and I have
been off discovering new and fun places.
Neither of us had been here before.
See if you can figure it out.
Dogwood
Boots
Lots of Boots.
Some even came home with us.
Food
Lots of delicious food.
Plantations
And Civil War Battles
President's Homes
guitars
and Elvis
Music
Lots of Music
It's a certain sound
and once you hear it
you know where it comes from.
Maybe you'd prefer to see
who's sound we did hear.
Figure out where we went?
I'm sure you did.
What a wonderful place to explore.
I would say Nashville and the surrounding area. My husband's aunt and uncle live right outside of Nashville. We have visited a few times. There is a quilt shop jam packed with fabric in a suburb to the south. And now I forget the name of the town and shop.
ReplyDeletelooks like a fun trip!!
ReplyDeleteNope I guessed Memphis....my US geography is terrible...I will come visit one day and get it all clear in my head!
ReplyDelete!!!! Loved this post!! We went to a couple of years ago...such great fun!! Looks like it was fun to you too, and I am glad!
ReplyDeleteI guessed Nashville, not bad for an Aussie :) It was easy with your wonderful clues. I love Dogwood!! and those photos of food have made me hungry! Great to see you enjoyed your trip.
ReplyDeleteOh MAN! Did you eat fried green tomatoes?! I LOVE them and SO jealous!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had so much fun! That is somewhere I have never been, though both my parents have roots that trace back to Tennessee.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't take me long to figure it out, but then I've been to Nashville before so recognized several of the sights. ;-) We'll be passing through in a week, but alas we'll be in too big of a hurry to get to the beach to stop.
ReplyDeleteYou were only a couple of hours from my home when you were in Memphis....and yes, Tennessee is a wonderful place to visit! blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good time was had by all! I don't miss the summer heat and humidity of the south but oh the Springs there are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that was a fun trip! You covered a lot of territory, too.
ReplyDeleteOh my - what a wonderful experience! I imagine Brad Paisley at the Opry was up close and personal, huh? Hubby & I will celebrate our 35th Anniversary at the end of the month and are still trying to figure out where to go and what to do - maybe I'll add Nashville to the list of possibilities! LOL
