Take a Peek

Okay.
Slowly
Open the door.
Oh, no.
What's happened?

It's amazing how in such a short period of time,
things can change.
A clear cutting table gets covered up,

shelves become stuffed with random things,
the floor, (what floor?)
becomes invisible and what is visible
is a tangle of multicolored threads  and fuzzies.
To find something specific,
requires more time than I have.
My projects have encroach
beyond the door.

Just standing in the door way,
I could see what needed to be done.
 I needed to take control,
again,
and get my space back so I could work and be creative.

Are you ready to take the challenge and
Survey your workspace?
I faced the fact.
It was time to Unclutter.
It might be hard to do it all at once.
But small steps can get you to the finish line,
 Just ask Running Man.

Until Next Time-

  1. oh this just made me LOL ok looking forward to seeing the progress and how you will organize everything
I love being in an organized, neat space find I work better that way. That said my room gets very messy sometimes too and its a few days of cleaning up refolding fabric and always looking for a better way to organize!
thanks for sharing these pictures you made my day!

  2. You crack me up! Oh, yeah, I need to sort and declutter, too. But, heck, if it means I'd feel as tattered as the most excellent Running Man looks there, I might opt for the Laz-y Boy and a class of merlot instead!

  5. Can't wait to see the end result of your efforts - I rarely do any deep cleaning and/or organizing in my studio - takes too much time away from sewing & hooking! LOL

  8. Kyle you've been peeking in my sewing room! Described it to a tee lol. Even the stuff encroaching outside the door. Now that the wedding has happened when we get home decluttering is first thing on the agenda. I actually can't wait to vacuum.
