 Have you ever watched a commercial being filmed?

I hadn't.

But it seems that anything being filmed doesn't look as glamorous 

when it's in production than

when it's been edited and ready to be shown.

Last week a fellow came to the door and said a commercial

riding lawnmower company in the area was looking for 

a location to film some promotion footage for a DVD promoting

their product.  Would we be interested in allowing them

to use our yard?  

The film crew and mower people arrive. The guy on the cell

is probably talking to Hollywood.

Our lawn and yard seemed to have all the characteristics that would

make a great backdrop for their mower.

Ed was very flattered.  He worked like a mad man

this past week making sure not a leaf or blade of grass 

was out of place.

A lot of helpers, cameras,  and  starts and stops.

 The lake made a nice backdrop.

 Here comes the mower.
But where's the sexy, handsome, leading man?

The good part is that they mowed the entire lawn so

Ed has a weeks reprieve plus

they gave Ed a lawn mower!

That was quite a deal.

Unless we're left on the cutting room floor.
